Panel Discussion in Tokyo, Japan for charles chau ‘When did you last kiss the clouds'?’ exhibition

On November 4, 2023 at Tadao Ando’s building Stump Base in Tokyo, Japan our founder, Allison Thompson, joined artist Charles Chau for a panel discussion on his artworks and art career.

The panel included discussions both deep and broad -- covering topics from the artist's journey to the academic-philosophical view of 'truth' and 'sensuality'; to the 'multiple layers' the artist's paints to the differences between Eastern and Western art with similarities drawn against history of different art practices, poetry and literature.
