Feng Bin

Feng Bin

Feng Bin is a Chinese artist currently residing in Chongqing, China. Feng Bin is recognized for his subjectivity of dancing partners that appear in an abstract and blurred composition, symbolizing the relationship and perception between oneself and others. The act of dancing alludes to desire and physical intimacy yet simultaneously suggests feelings of isolation and alienation from each other. The expression and embellishment of the figures creates an atmosphere juxtaposing simplicity with complexity.

Having had a long established art career, Feng Bin has gained international recognition in cities including New York, Hong Kong, Tel Aviv and numerous other art centers. The artist’s work is also part of the permanent collection of the British Museum in London, England, China National Art Museum, Armenia National Art Museum, Taiwan Mountain Art Museum, Shanghai Art Museum, Macdonald Stewart Art Centre of Canada, Chengdu Art Luxehills Art Museum, Guan Shanyue Art Museum, Macao Museum of Art and Guangdao Art Museum. Feng Bin graduated from the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in Chongqing, China where he presently is a professor and active director of the Committee of Mixed Media Art and Artwork Reservation and Restoration of Chinas Artists Association.
